English Conversation Program
A free, on-campus program to enhance spoken English Skills and to increase confidence in using conversational English.  The program is open to any members of Western’s community whose first language is not English can join (for example, registered international students, spouses, post-doctoral fellows, visiting scholars/researchers, etc.). English Conversation sessions last 2 hours, once per week, for 8 weeks each term and are facilitated by trained volunteers in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

Peer Connection Program
The International Peer Connection (IPC) program matches new international students with friendly upper-year Western students called Peer Guides. Peer Guides connect new students to the Western community, answer questions and provide support throughout the program.
