SOGS monthly queer discussion group

Our monthly queer discussion group will be Monday, December 7 at 5:00pm in the Pride Library. This is a safer space event and any member of a gender, sexuality, or romantic minority is invited to attend, as are any allies.

This month’s conversation prompt is queer for the holidays. Do you have plans to celebrate anything over the winter break? Does you gender, sexuality, or romantic self-identification affect your plans? Do you have that one aunt who insists on referring to your same-sex partner as your “friend”, or that cousin who incessantly goes on about how brave you are to be a trans advocate?

Other topics, however unrelated, are also welcome; this topic is just a proposed conversation starter.
