- The next Council Meeting will take place May 30th through ZOOM (as an act of solidarity with our striking GTAs).
- Department Grants are available to pick up in the SOGS Office (Middlesex College, Room 8)
- NOTE: Department Grant cheques stalemate after 6 months, meaning, you must pick up and have your department’s cheque deposited this month to avoid the bank cancelling it!!

- Council approved changing the name of the Gender Concerns Commission/Commissioner to Gender Equity Commission/Commissioner.

Council approved the following Committee Chair Honoraria for disbursement:
- Mohammad Zeraati receives a $500 honorarium for serving as the Academic Committee Chair during the 2023-24 year.
- Amalie Hutchinson receives a $500 honorarium for serving as the GradCast Editorial Board Chair during the 2023-24 year.
- Jacob Abiad receives a $167 honorarium for serving as the Sustainability Committee Chairs during the 2023-24 year.
- Magda Zabek receives a $333 honorarium for serving as the Sustainability Committee Chairs during the 2023-24 year.

Arman Hosseini receives a $500 honorarium for serving as the Finance Committee Chair during the 2023-24 year.

Raluca Urian receives a $500 honorarium for serving as the Grad Club Committee Chair during the 2023-24 year.

Brad Bork receives a $500 honorarium for serving as the Subsidies Committee Chair during the 2023-24 year.
