October 2017: Council

The following provides a brief summary of the recent Council meeting on October 26. The complete Council package, which includes the agenda and reports, can be accessed online. Full minutes of the October Council meeting will be available in the November 2017 Council package.

This summary is provided to increase transparency, and to support Councillors in completing their obligations under Bylaw 2.3.5; “shall regularly communicate with his or her constituents concerning the activities, programs, and decisions of the Society”.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Welcome New Councillors! New Council packages were made available at Council. It is available here: Council Orientation 2017.

As per tradition, SOGS will host a Welcome Reception at the Grad Club after Council for New Councillors.

The next Council meeting will take place on November 30, 2017 at 6pm in UCC 56.

SOGS Council does not meet in December.
