- The role of the Appeals Review Commission is to rule on appeals relating to presidential elections and referenda.

- The role of the SOGS Chief Returning Officer (CRO) is primarily to oversee elections and referenda.

- The role of the SOGS Pride Commissioner is to advocate for, communicate with, and inform members of the graduate LGBTQIA+ community at Western.
