The Society of Graduate Students is proud to present its Fall 2026 Term Graduate Student Orientation Week schedule of events! These events run Monday, September 21st to Sunday, September 27th.

💰All ticketed events have been subsidized by SOGS to make them more affordable and accessible to grad students.

QUEERVIA:  A NIGHT OF QUEER TRIVIA

🏳️‍🌈 Join the Pride Commission for three rounds of trivia, 20 questions per round (60 total), and sex-positive prizes for the winning team each round!

CANCELLING BILLIONAIRES DISCUSSION

Join the Sustainability Committee for a discussion Cancelling Billionaires Before They Cancel Us.

An idea once dismissed as politically and practically impossible — taxing the ultra-rich — is gaining international attention. Now renowned Canadian author Linda McQuaig and tax scholar Neil Brooks are bringing it to London.

They will discuss their new book, Cancelling Billionaires Before They Cancel Us: The Urgent Case for a Wealth Tax, at a public Author Talk co-sponsored by the London Public Library and the London Chapter of the Council of Canadians, on Tuesday, September 22 at Central Library, 3rd Floor, 251 Dundas St., London.
